Completes diagnostic evaluation of communicative disorders for inpatients, outpatients, extended care patients, and Home Health and Hospice patients. Develops, in conjunction with providers, treatment programs for these individuals. Directs speech/language communication treatment; reviews and plans speech pathology activities. Performs diagnostic evaluation of swallowing disorders. Develops, in conjunction with the provider, swallowing treatment programs.
Education: Masters degree or higher from an accredited college with a major in speech and language pathology. Must have ASHA certificate of clinical competency.
Experience: Prefer one year in a clinical setting. Demonstrates Age Specific competency re: toddlers, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric adults necessary to understanding and address the individuals needs during Speech Pathology evaluation and treatment.
Required licensure/certification: Valid license in the State of NE as a Speech Therapist.
