Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Provides to patients the full range of anesthesia services customarily provided by CRNAs.  Conducts an anesthesia practice in accordance with the ethics of the nursing profession and in compliance with currently approved practices in the field of anesthesia. Sidney Regional Medical Center surgical cases include general surgery cases, orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmology, urology, ortho-spine and foot and ankle.  Pain Management certification desirable.

Graduate of an approved school of nursing and holding a current license in the State of Nebraska as a registered nurse. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.  Successfully completed the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor’s certification examination.

Full Time 3 weeks on 1 week off rotation with rotating call.
