Support groups

It is so important to the SRMC team to provide resources and support for those in our region. Offering our conference rooms at a reduced or free rate so other non-profit organizations may have a safe and comfortable place to provide important education and information to those in need.

Support groups available at SRMC include:

MS Friends & Family Community Support Group

M.S. Friends & Family Community Support Group meet monthly at the Pole Creek Campus. Providing education and resources to support both those with MS and the family and friends that help them. Be looking for more information about the M.S. Week in March '19.

Diabetes Prevention Program

SRMC offers a 16-week Diabetes Prevention Program to those individuals who are at risk for developing diabetes. Those eligible for to participate in the program must be 18 years of age or older, overweight, have risks of developing diabetes or currently have pre-diabetes or were clinically diagnosed with gestational diabetes during a previous pregnancy. Parkinson’s Support Group

This group provides information, education, and support programs as well as health and wellness activities for those living with Parkinson’s. For more information about meeting times, contact the social worker at 308.254.7303.
