Welcome to Your Health Matters, an initiative presented by fellow Gen-Z and SRMC employee, Emma Tuzicka. Emma has been with SRMC for the past year as a Marketing/Public Relations Specialist, learning the ins and outs of healthcare! Before working here, she claims, "I had very little knowledge about healthcare. In my eyes, I would only visit my provider if I absolutely needed to but avoided it otherwise. For a while, even as an almost 20-year-old, I would have my mom call to make my appointments for me, but I know I’m not alone."

That's why she started this series. To allow other young adults to learn more about the healthcare system and how it is a place to help you feel better, not worse. Come along with Emma on her healthcare journey through SRMC!
