Nurse anesthesia gives me a unique opportunity to make a big impact on my patient’s day in a relatively small window. One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to know my patients’ unique needs and making them feel comfortable and safe before surgery. It is the little things that will make a big difference in their experience with anesthesia; I want those little things to make for a positive experience for my patients in what can otherwise be a stressful situation. Growing up in the area, I enjoy being able to serve my community by being part of the team at SRMC with all the services they offer the Panhandle. I enjoy spending time outdoors running, hiking, and gardening with my husband and two dogs.
