I believe in patient-centered care. Each patient brings a unique experience with them that is important to their care. I work in the ER because it’s a time when we can help people with unforeseen illness/injury and make an impact in their lives. It’s making a difference in lives that fills my cup. Working at SRMC allowed me to be close to my family in Western Nebraska and Eastern Colorado. I chose to work in emergency medicine because it is a dynamic environment that allows me to help people in a time where they are experiencing urgent and emergent concerns. I’m an avid reader, but I also like to be outside hiking and fishing.
