I want to make sure I build relationships with anyone, especially patients seeking care in the Emergency Department. I strive to treat each patient with respect, dignity, and compassion in order to provide the best care possible for each individual. I provide care that aligns with their values, culture, and beliefs. The thought of helping somebody feel better keeps me motivated to continue to care for patients. I started working at SRMC as a PA student doing my clinical rotation with family medicine physicians, Dr. Dorwart, Dr. Matthews, Dr. Shaw, and others at the old hospital. While doing my rotation, I learned that physicians, nurses, and the people in this community are the most open-mined individuals. When there was an opening in the Emergency Department, I took it right away and moved my family to Sidney. Sidney’s community has welcomed my family with open arms. Martial art movies are my favorites. When I was in a refugee camp, I heard a lot about Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, so I think I am accustomed to liking this kind of genre. In my spare time, I enjoy running and basketball. I value honesty, responsibility, kindness, and courage, because these values will take you a long way in life.
