Dr. Hakumat Kakkar utilizes stimulators and Electromyographies (EMGs) to help diagnose and treat neurological disorders. EMGs are a diagnostic procedure that assesses the health of muscles and motor neurons. The results of an EMG can reveal nerve or muscle disfunction or problems with nerve-to-muscle signal transmission and stimulators. A provider referral is required.
Another Neurology service we provide is Electroencephalography (EEG). EEG is a non-invasive test that records electrical activity in the brain, typically through electrodes placed on the scalp. EEG is a valuable tool in the arsenal of neurology services, providing important insights into the functioning of the brain and helping guide clinical management decisions for patients with neurological disorders.
