On February 14, 2026, the Health Center Foundation proudly hosted its 2nd Annual Gala, bringing together community members, local leaders, healthcare advocates, and generous supporters for an unforgettable evening dedicated to advancing local healthcare. What began as a vision to create a signature fundraising event has quickly become a meaningful tradition centered on generosity, connection, and shared commitment to caring for our region.
This year’s Gala held special significance, as all proceeds were dedicated to the new Cancer Care Center currently in development at Sidney Regional Medical Center. This important project represents a major step forward in expanding access to comprehensive cancer services close to home, allowing patients and families to receive high-quality care in the community they know and trust.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, the evening was a tremendous success. With 200 tickets sold, the room was filled with energy, compassion, and a collective belief in strengthening healthcare for the future. Through ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, and generous contributions made throughout the night, more than $70,000 was raised to support the development of the Cancer Care Center.
These funds will directly impact the growth of cancer services in our region, helping bring advanced resources, enhanced treatment spaces, and compassionate care environments to those who need them most. Every dollar raised represents hope, hope for earlier diagnoses, more convenient treatments, and stronger support systems for patients and their families.
As we look toward the future, we are inspired by what this community continues to accomplish together. The success of this year’s Gala not only moves the Cancer Care Center project forward, but also reinforces a long-term vision of expanding services, strengthening local healthcare infrastructure, and ensuring that high-quality care remains accessible close to home. With continued partnership and support, we are confident that this annual event will keep growing, creating lasting impact for generations to come.
